This is a truly unique and unexpected album written by Danger Mouse and Sparklehorse. I've listened through it just a few times now considering it came out today but i can already see I'm going to be listening to it for awhile. The visuals on the album art all come from David Lynch. Oddly enough over a dispute with the record company this album may never be offically released.Instead the book of artwork for it will come with a blank cd-r saying to use it as you want.
Even though all lyrics were by Danger Mouse and Sparklehorse it features a lot of guest vocals and production by James Mercer of The Shins, The Flaming Lips, Gruff Rhys of Super Furry Animals, Jason Lytle of Grandaddy, Julian Casablancas of The Strokes, Frank Black of the Pixies, Iggy Pop, Nina Persson of The Cardigans, Suzanne Vega, Vic Chesnutt, David Lynch, and Scott Spillane of Neutral Milk Hotel and The Gerbils.

This is the cover for the American rerelease of the Canadian underground rapper Shad's cd The Old Prince. I just found out about him recently and I'm really enjoying this album. It explores his feelings of wanting to accomplish great things and worrying it may not as time passes.
This is a pretty interesting free EP from the white rapper Cage. He's defiantly one of the best white rappers i've heard, though thats not saying much. He describes his music as being progressive rap, which is evident from the alternative rock/rap mixture in his music. 
After listening to this album only a few times it quickly became one of my favorite rap albums. It has interesting lyrics and themes which is always something i enjoy in music. It has a very relaxed sound though at the same time. Its a really good combination with production by Exile.
Jay Electronica is one of my favorite rappers right now. He has great very original lyrics and interesting production. He really puts other rappers to shame considering he can make this much amazing music in a year or two for free and they cant make one song this good in their entire careers. So heres the What the Fuck is a Jay Electronica(compilation)? .
I included in this post the demo version that has leaked of the revolver single with Madonna, the album art for the single, and the snippet that just has the Lil Wayne verse. I had to include the Lil Wayne verse because that's all anyone probably wanted anyways haha.
This is a pretty good mixtape of all the "rock" type songs lil wayne has done so far.
